How to Enable 2FA on IQX

Learn how to activate Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on IQX to add an extra layer of security to your account.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) protects your account by requiring a verification code in addition to your password. Even if someone knows your password, they cannot access your account without this second step.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Log in to your IQX account and open your Profile.
  2. Go to Security Settings.
  3. Select Enable 2FA.
  4. Choose your preferred 2FA method:
    • Authenticator App (Recommended): Google Authenticator or Authy.
    • SMS or Email: Receive verification codes on your registered phone or email.
  5. Scan the QR code or manually enter the secret key in your authenticator app.
  6. Enter the 6-digit verification code to complete the setup.

Important Notes

  • Save your backup codes in a secure place — needed if you lose access to your phone.
  • You can update or disable 2FA anytime from Security Settings.
  • Never share your 2FA codes with anyone, including people claiming to be IQX support.
