How to Sign Up & Verify Identity

How to create your IQX account, receive the OTP (Email/WhatsApp/SMS), and complete Basic or VIP Identification.

Welcome to IQX, your trusted crypto exchange in Iraq. Getting started takes only a few minutes.

Step 1: Create an Account

  1. Go to iqx.io or open the IQX app.
  2. Tap Login / Sign Up.

  1. Enter your email address or phone number.
  2. Receive your OTP :
    • If you signed up with an email , we send the OTP to your inbox.
    • If you signed up with a phone number , we send the OTP via WhatsApp or SMS.
  3. Enter the OTP to activate your account.

Tip: If the email doesn’t arrive, check your Spam/Junk folder.

Recommendation: Even if you register with a phone number, add your email in your profile for easier recovery and enhanced security.

Step 2: Complete Identity Verification

Identification keeps your account and our community secure.

Basic Verification

  • Requires your basic personal information (e.g., name, ID number, date of birth).
  • Enables: IQD deposit , buy/sell crypto , and IQD withdrawal.
  • Does not enable crypto withdrawals.

VIP Verification

  • Requires uploading your ID card and completing a short video verification.
  • Unlocks crypto withdrawals , higher limits, and faster approvals.
  • Upgrade anytime: Profile → Identification → Upgrade to VIP Verification.
